Little Miss Can't Be Wrong

Bike lights! I went for a week or two without riding my bike because it has already started getting light later in the morning and getting dark earlier in the evening, and I didn't have lights. So we went to dinner at Taste of India last week, and we stopped at the best store ever (that's the flagship REI) to buy some lights for me on the way home.

My requirements were that the light use LEDs and standard battery sizes. (I don't know what an N battery is, but we don't keep those in stock. AA or AAA, people. Nine volt is acceptable but not preferred.)

I ended up with this guy for the back and this one for the front. They're both extremely bright and have solid as well as blinky settings. One takes AA batteries and one takes AAA. It was pretty cold yesterday morning, but I rode in anyway with my little lights. It poured on me on the way home, and - proving I'm a real Seattleite now - I just sort of laughed at it.

I was offered three jobs, all on other programs within Boeing, but I think I'm sticking with my current job for a while. The commute really couldn't be more perfect unless I worked in my own living room, I really like my coworkers, and I'm finally getting to do various other jobs. I need lots of different things to do or I get bored.

Brian's last day of golf for the year is tomorrow. If I can get up the energy, I'll ride my bike into Southcenter (if I can't, I'll drive) to do some errands and then do some laundry at home. I think we're having pizza in West Seattle with Natalie and Jay.
